Reports from the Italian press suggest Kwadwo Asamoah will join Inter Milan at the end of the season.
The Ghanian international has enjoyed a strong run in the team of late, in part due to injuries and the poor for of Alex Sandro at left-back.
Gazzetta dello Sport report that despite his recent revitalisation under Max Allegri, the 29-year-old has yet to agree terms with Juventus over a new deal.
The report suggests that Juve CEO Beppe Marotta has attempted to renew Asamoah’s deal but the player is not interested in remaining at the Italian champions.
The left-back will instead accept Inter Milan’s offer of €3.5m a season and put pen to paper on a three-year deal with Juve’s bitter rivals.
Bad news if true. A good quality player, and he is leaving? Would much rather see Kwadwo Asamoah out on the pitch every match than a certain individual….
Horrid news, but I can understand his position when we were literally trying to push him out and replace him with Spinazzola. I was horrified by the idea as much as the mistreatment of Asamoah, unless that is…he had first asked to leave, yet why would he, unless he had been told he was 2nd or 3rd choice.
Bothersome show of the less wholesome and dignified way we treat players who have given superb service…similar story for Stephan.
Yes, we do do this thing of treating some players like crap don’t we. I don’t know why that is though….
I am bummed by this as well. Clearly our best choice at LB this season. Love his reliability. Let’s collect a fee on Sandro if one has to go, and keep Asamoah
