Juventus have made Sergej Milinkovic-Savic their priority this summer but they face competition from Europe’s elite clubs.
The Lazio midfielder is hot property on the back of another highly successful season in the capital, attracting the attention of a number of clubs.
According to Tuttosport, Juventus are very keen on the Serbian international and have made him their main priority for the summer, however they face three significant challenges.
First of all, it’s reported Lazio owner Claudio Lotito will demand at least €100m for the player. Secondly, the competition is rich and includes Manchester United, Manchester City and PSG. Finally, dealing with Lotito will prove tricky, especially given Juve’s failed pursuit of Balde Keita last summer.
Alongside Milinkovic-Savic, the Bianconeri could look to three other European options for midfield: PSG’s Adrien Rabiot, Tottenham Hotspur’s Mousa Dembélé and finally Arsenal’s Aaron Ramsey. Closer to home, Juventus are also monitoring Roma’s Lorenzo Pellegrini and Atalanta’s Bryan Cristante.

I see rumours of United’s interest. Yet they have two players expected to start in Pogba and Matic…wouldnt surprise me to see them outbid us for the lad, regardless. They have the cash and will qualify for the CL.
Other than which, we are probably in a fairly good position as long as City, PSG, Barcelona, Real and Bayern do not get involved. It might be possible after all. And I have come to agree with the Chief here, since watching more of his talents and seeing the midfield general we have been sorely lacking. A serious presence in the middle of the park. Still, there are other options, and 100m is a pretty penny.
I don;t see why Dembele would leave a comfortable position in an up and coming team who should qualify for the CL again, he is enjoying himself, playing great football in an entertaining team superb relationship with manager, earning good money. I’d love to see him at Juve however. Superb, monstrous player who is often worth two lesser beings on the field.

I know we were interested in Rabiot a few years back, and yet have not watched much PSG. Has he really blossomed considerably? Seems a throwback to a dusty, long dead intrigue.
What of Praet? there was serious interest there earlier this year and before.
And his chum Torreira ?
My hopes for Mandragora been given a chance seem ever more slim…though I will continue to dream of seeing the youngster surprise a few folk and develop into the fulcrum of the side!
If we pull this one off, I would like to go to Torino and kiss Marotta’s beautiful bald head. SMS would be an enormous addition. Don’t see it happen though, if Lotito asks 100mill, he’ll demand 120mill when it is Juve who come knocking
