Juventus have all but confirmed the departures of Carlos Tevez and Andrea Pirlo but denied the rumours of a bid for Arturo Vidal.

There have been a host of reports in Spain that Real Madrid had made an offer for Vidal while Sevilla were linked with Fernando Llorente but Bianconeri director Beppe Marotta denied both stories out of hand.

“Vidal to Madrid and Llorente to Sevilla? We haven’t received any offers from those teams.” Marotta expained.

“We did our business early, in advance of important players like Tevez and Pirlo leaving. We’ve already completed the squad, and it’s a competitive team.

“The bulk of our work has been done, but we’ll evaluate any opportunities to improve the squad.”

Marotta also addressed the reports of a deal with Barcelona for Paul Pogba, having previously confirmed the player wasn’t for sale.

“He’s an important part of our team, and we won’t sell him. The visit from Barcelona was a corporate one.”
