Juventus are close to completing the transfer of Manchester United full-back Matteo Darmian while Alex Sandro is expected to stay at the club.
The Bianconeri have been linked with a number of key targets ahead of the start of the transfer window, beginning with Darmian who is pushing for a return to Italy.
Sky Sport Italia, Gazzetta Dello Sport and a number of other Italian dailies report that Darmian’s time at Manchester United is up and Juve have already secured a deal to bring the 28-year-old.
Juventus are aiming to complete the deal for a figure believed to €11m with the player agreeing a five-year contract with the Bianconeri.
Some reports from UK press suggested that the deal may include Juve and United negotiating a fee for Brazilian full-back Alex Sandro, however Juve Sporting Director Beppe Marotta insisted that wasn’t the case when asked about Sandro’s future yesterday:
“We will meet next week with his representative and I think there’s a desire to extend the contract,” said Marotta.
Juve are also expected to complete deals for Genoa goalkeeper Mattia Perin and Liverpool midfielder Emre Can in the week ahead.
