Manchester United have a strong interest in Juventus forward Mario Mandzukic, however the Bianconeri are adamant that he will remain in Turin.
The Croatian international has been linked with a move away from Turin since before the end of the season, and it’s now emerged that United might be his next destination.
According to Sky Sport Italia journalist Gianluca Di Marzio, the Red Devils are very keen on Mandzukic as manager Jose Mourinho looking for a player with his attributes.
Despite the links, Juve GM Beppe Marotta is quite certain the Mandzukic will remain in Turin telling reporters earlier today:
“The principle for Juventus is always that if a player asks to leave then, of course, we’ll try to satisfy him, at the point when motivation has dropped or there are other considerations.
“At the moment no-one is in that position, so I have to say that Mario Mandzukic will be a Juventus player next year too.”
Mandzukic has scored 34 goals in 127 appearances in Turin during his three-year’s with Juventus.
