Reports from various parts of the Italian media suggest that Maurizio Sarri is close to joining Juventus.

The current Chelsea coach has been the favourite to replace Max Allegri on the Bianconeri bench following his triumph in the Europa League on Thursday.

SportItalia journalist (and friend of Sarri) Alfredo Pedullà reports that Sarri’s agent Fali Ramadani has met with Chelsea directors in London and the outcome was positive.

Sky Sport Italia’s Gianluca Di Marzio reports along similar lines, suggesting only the final ‘ok’ is missing from Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich for Sarri’s release from the club.

Di Marzio suggests that Sarri has  already met with Blues Director Marina Granovskaia and told her he wants to leave and a move to Juventus is expected to go through.

Goal Italia’s Romeo Agresti reports Juventus have already reached an agreement with Sarri over a €7m a year contract and the former Napoli coach is close to joining Juventus.
