Juventus have confirmed the sale of midfielder Hernanes to Hebei Fortune.

The Brazilian international completed his move last week, however the club made the deal official in a statement via their official website:

“Juventus Football Club announces an agreement with Hebei China Fortune Football Club for the outright transfer of the player Hernanes,”

“The amount of €8m will be paid in full within 15 days of the receipt of international clearance. The value of the transfer may increase by a maximum of €2m if certain conditions are met during the contractual period.

“This deal generates a positive economic effect of around €2.2m.”

The midfielder took to Instagram to thank the club and fans for his time at Juventus

“I had quite a journey in Italy. Wearing this shirt for a year and a half has been an honour, a great pleasure and a source of pride. I’d like to thank everyone for this opportunity.

“From the President to the directors, through the coaching staff, the medical staff, the physiotherapists, the Press officers, the marketing staff and the canteen staff – thank you for all the courtesy and kindness you’ve shown me!

“I want to thank the fans who have given me support over the last 18 months. Thank you all every much, and Forza Juve always!”
