Juventus have confirmed the sale of midfielder Hernanes to Hebei Fortune.
The Brazilian international completed his move last week, however the club made the deal official in a statement via their official website:
“Juventus Football Club announces an agreement with Hebei China Fortune Football Club for the outright transfer of the player Hernanes,”
“The amount of €8m will be paid in full within 15 days of the receipt of international clearance. The value of the transfer may increase by a maximum of €2m if certain conditions are met during the contractual period.
“This deal generates a positive economic effect of around €2.2m.”
The midfielder took to Instagram to thank the club and fans for his time at Juventus
“I had quite a journey in Italy. Wearing this shirt for a year and a half has been an honour, a great pleasure and a source of pride. I’d like to thank everyone for this opportunity.
“From the President to the directors, through the coaching staff, the medical staff, the physiotherapists, the Press officers, the marketing staff and the canteen staff – thank you for all the courtesy and kindness you’ve shown me!
“I want to thank the fans who have given me support over the last 18 months. Thank you all every much, and Forza Juve always!”
Unfairly maligned. Not the worst to wear our shirt in recent times by a long way. Thanks for some fine performances early in the season when the rest of the midfield had gone awol. We would not have as many points now had you not played so well in some matches. Enjoy the money…
Agreed, Dar…Played in a much deeper role than he was used to, had a few poor games, a few average games, one or two decent games, yet always gave his all, has never tried to hide from his critics and conducted himself with dignity on and of the field.
Can’t ask for much more than that. And so I wish him well…
Good luck in the CSL Hernanes, I hope you will do great
I liked him. Good luck!
