It’s Official: Sebastian Giovinco will join Toronto FC when his Juventus contract expires at the end of the season.

The ‘Atomic Ant’ is out of contract at the end of the season and numerous reports linked him to a move to the MLS in the past week, despite his agent denying the rumours.

Giovinco has already put pen to paper on a deal that will earn him  close to $10m [€8.6m] for the next four years.

“I am excited to sign with Toronto FC today and look forward to joining the club this summer,” Giovinco told the clubs official site.

“I have heard so many great things about Toronto over the years and I know that it will be a city that I feel right at home in. Until then, I have many things I still want to accomplish for Juventus and our fans. I will always give my heart and soul for Juve until I change shirts this summer.”
