Juventus sporting director Fabio Paratici says the club is “taking our time in selecting the new Coach, but we have clear ideas.”

The Bianconeri have been linked with a slew of coaches in the space of the last week, following the announcement that Max Allegri would be leaving the club in the summer.

“We are taking our time in selecting the new Coach. We need patience, we are evaluating the right candidates and have clear ideas,” Paratici said, speaking at the Premio Gentleman Fair Play Awards.

“This award is for my club, from the first team to the youth teams.

“At big clubs, you have a lot of possibilities, you are lucky to work with great players, and I’ve certainly got to work with some top players.

“I feel the pressure of the fans, they want to win, but truthfully, it’s a pleasure to work here. I’m a fan first, then a sporting director.

“Guys like Gianluigi Buffon, Andrea Barzagli, and Andrea Pirlo are heroes to me, they are the champions I’m most fond of.”
