Numerous news outlets in Italy report that Patrik Schick’s transfer is complete with a medical expected early next week.

The Czech striker has been linked to the Bianconeri for close to a month now with suggestions that Pavel Nedved has played a huge part in convincing the young talent to move to Turin.

Gazzetta Dello Sport led with a headline, declaring: “It’s done” – Schick will be signed by Juventus following a meeting this afternoon with Sampdoria where the two sides were expected to iron out the few final details, possibly relating to the prospective loan of the player for a season.

Premium Sport, Calciomercarto and Goal Italia soon reported a similar story – Juventus will pay the €25m release clause, possibly in two instalments, with the a medical expected next week.

While there’s no official confirmation yet, all the reports mention that Schick is more likely to join Juventus immediately where he’ll be assessed by Allegri during the summer retreat.

The 21-year-old striker enjoyed a breakthrough season at Sampdoria this season, scoring 11 goals and providing 3 assists in 14 starts for the Blucerchiati.
