Mixed reports from Italy suggest that either Merih Demiral or Daniele Rugani could leave Juventus in the week ahead.

The transfer window closes on 2nd September and while Juve have done the bulk of their buys, they may still sell some players in the squad given that the team now boasts 27 first team players.

Sky Sport Italia journalist Gianluca Di Marzio reports that AC Milan haven’t given up in their interest in Turkish centre-back Demiral and are still hoping to secure a move.

The report suggests that Milan will make a final bid of around €35m for Demiral with a meeting possibly taking place tomorrow between them and Bianconeri management.

Juve had initially entertained the idea of cashing on the player, having signed him for €18m earlier in the summer, but later reports indicated the club management had declined all offers and were convinced to keep him. This was underlined by the delay in his official presentation which only took place a week ago.

A later report from Sky suggested that Juve were more keen on selling Rugani and that talks with Roma could resume tomorrow, despite both clubs having originally reached an impasse.
