Empoli 0-3 Juventus Match Review
I thoroughly enjoyed this encounter. Empoli adopted a high pressing game and were prepared to commit men forward, which is precisely what we need to learn to deal with

October 3, 2016 - 10:51A 0-4 away victory in the champions league is a fine result, regardless of the very average nature of our opponents.
September 28, 2016 - 11:40After last Sunday’s horror-show against arch rivals Inter Milan we were fortunate to welcome Cagliari to Turin as sacrificial lambs to the slaughter to immediately remind ourselves that all is not lost. The Sardinians played their role in proceedings to perfection…
September 22, 2016 - 11:32Our lead-up to this opening fixture of european competition was generally positive yet very much fragmented.
September 15, 2016 - 12:06We witnessed the passion, belief and grit that was largely absent from the mid-week skirmishes on the European front, and ultimately a thoroughly deserved victory which could truly kick-start the season. Unfortunately, I am speaking of Inter…

August 20, 2016 - 21:25Fresh from a long overdue escape from the citadel, where I stayed in a renovated shack on the side of a valley, found the frogs and kangaroos and a roaring open fire for company
July 27, 2016 - 8:04There is always hesitation vis-a-vis how we will fare after many of our players have been traveling long distance and adopting to different tactics with different players whilst others have been absent of any competitive action.
April 4, 2016 - 1:55Sassuolo, even absent of Berardi and Defrel, were always going to provide stern opposition. They are a carefully and successfully run club, with a strong focus on youth and maintaining an overwhelmingly Italian nature to their side
March 12, 2016 - 10:39Facing our arch enemies from Rome, Allegri opted for arguably our strongest possible starting XI with the expected 3-5-2. Barzagli returned to the ranks after recovering from his latest muscular bother.
January 26, 2016 - 21:11Juventus went behind early on, but a scrappy Llorente equaliser and a superb Andrea Pirlo strike saw the Bianconeri emerge 2-1 against Atalanta.

December 18, 2014 - 20:22After Allegri’s decision of switching to a back-line of four defenders, he made it clear that something drastic was necessary to win and ultimately join Atletico Madrid–who seem favorites to finish first–in advancing from the group stages.
Juventus came out of the gates extremely hungry, hardly allowing Olympiacos to any possession with the ball. The midfield was incredible, but there was still the obvious lack of creativity and a pulled trigger in the opposition’s final third. Between Tevez, Marchisio, Vidal, Morata, etc there were a number of chances that could’ve seen the Bianconeri take a comfortable lead after the first 45 minutes, but it was not until Juve won a free kick in a perfect area for Italian legend, Andrea Pirlo to make his mark. After stepping up to take the spot kick, it was not long until the ball went over the wall, past Roberto and hit the back of the net with immense velocity. The score was 1-0 in Juventus’ favor after the 21st minute, but much was still to come for the Gobbi.
