Toronto FC have agreed a deal to sign Juventus midfielder, Sebastian Giovinco.
Sportsnet report this evening that TFC have come to an agreement to sign Giovinco to a four-year deal when the player’s current contract with Juventus comes to an end in June 2015. He was widely expected to leave the club, either in January or in the summer, having struggled for playing time this season.
Sportsnet sources also suggest that The Atomic Ant had offers from other European clubs, ‘but he decided to sign with Toronto FC after the team offered him “a truckload of money,” believed to be $7 million US per season.’
An official announcement is expected on either Monday or Tuesday.
too bad they didn’t buy him. we could’ve used the extra money. oh well
In this case, I’d kick his ass out of the team and training sessions. Wouldn’t have to expect to come close to a football field if I was coach now
130 apps, 20 goals, 23 assists. Great stats for a midfielder, too bad he was playing as a striker all the time. Oh well, good luck to him.
