Juventus put in a near-perfect performance to brush aside Hellas Verona, 4-0 with Carlos Tevez scoring a brace.

Paul Pogba opened the scoring with a pile driver from distance that bounced in front of Rafael, giving the keeper no chance. It was Pogba again just minutes later as he dummied the ball to leave Carlos Tevez to score with a first time finish.

Juve pushed on in the second half and it was Giorgio Chiellini’s assist that set up Roberto Pereyra to deftly fire past Rafael before Claudio Marchisio set up Carlos Tevez who nutmegged the keeper to score Juve’s fourth and his second of the night.

Gianluigi Buffon

Only had one save to make the entire evening and that was straight at him. Made a grab late on to deny Hellas a tap-in but untroubled for much of the game.

6.0 / 10

Martin Caceres

Provided a decent cross or two, solid in defence and could have scored a goal himself. Solid.

6.5 / 10

Leonardo Bonucci

Kept Luca Toni quiet all match, made some easy headed clearances and was composed and confident throughout.

6.5 / 10

Giorgio Chiellini

Galloped forward at every chance, made a perfect interception when Hellas could have countered and even managed to provide an assist. King Kong.

6.5 / 10

Patrice Evra

Solid, if not spectacular. Barely troubled down the left flank, made a few runs into the Hellas half and had a chance to score which he should have taken.

6.0 / 10

Claudio Marchisio

An engine in midfield, passed, tackled and did a decent impersonation of Arturo Vidal before providing a perfect assist for Carlos Tevez’ second goal on the night.

6.5 / 10

Andrea Pirlo

Completed 92% of his passes on the night, kept Juve moving forward and forced a decent save from Rafael with a perfectly placed free kick.

6.5 / 10

Paul Pogba

Opened the scoring with a pile driver from distance that beat the keeper before taking control of the midfield and creating opportunities for his teammates.

7.0 / 10

 Roberto Pereyra

Finally scored his first league goal with the deftest of finishes. Harried the Hellas defence and seems to be improving with each game.

6.5 / 10

Carlos Tevez – MOM

Bagged a brilliant brace that takes him to the top of the scoring charts and you have to feel he could have scored more. Ran tirelessly throughout and was easily the man of the match.

7.5 / 10

Alvaro Morata

Arguably his best performance in a Juve shirt, despite not scoring. Gave Juve something totally different up front with his runs and passing. Had 3 great chances of his own and deserved at least a goal for his efforts.

7.0 / 10
