such a tough choice to make this season when there are some clear contendors.
Tevez did it alone in the early part of the season, bonucci was consistent, Buffon was reliable and Marchisio was the most flexible and adaptable.
So difficult to rank them though…..
I don’t get how now all of a sudden Tevez is being linked with a move to Atletico?
He’s been rumoured forever about a move to Boca, not Atletico .. If he were to go to Boca then I understand, but was it a smoke screen for his desire to join a Spanish side? I don’t get all of this and I don’t get how more Juventini aren’t up in arms.. No one seems to be making a big deal at all. We need him for one more year and he should just see out his contract.
And why is no one talking about what the transfer fee would be? If he does go somewhere, I want someone to pay for him. Let’s not just give him away for free.
Why would he leave Juve to go to Atletico? WTF?
It’s a tricky situation to read
My understanding is that he wants to leave – I can only think that he has used this season and the last to build his profile up again after all that went wrong at Man city – Now he’s wanted again, with a decent salary attached to the offers that are made.
Simeone confirmed that Atleti are talkign to Tevez’s agent – Worse still, when the asked carlitos about it, he didn’t confirm or deny – Plus beppe Had to make a statement about the future of the players but he said that he didn;t know about Tevez.
Pirlo was rumoured to leave but he said yesterday that it’s pointless to speculate. He is still a Juve player.
To be up and arms over this is tricky because if he wants to leave, he should no longer be at the club.
I sense the plan all along was to add Khedira and Dybala immediately, then be a in a stong situation in the summer to turn down offers for Pogba and Vidal while other clubs KNEW that we weren’t looking to buy because we had all we needed.
Tevez wanting to leave will force us into the market where everyone knows we are looking for a striker to replace him, so the cost will go up and there will be competition from other teams.
We knew what we were getting with Tevez – He’s played for both Manchester clubs and has that attitude, i thought it had disappeared at Juve, but perhaps he was just angling for a bigger move.
I don;t think people are too pissed off yet because we don’t know if it’s for certain. A lot could happen in these coming weeks but we will know his desire very soon
All good points.
But I don’t think this has anything to do with the attitudes he showed with the Manchester clubs as his experience here has been vastly different to the experience in England.
He never once showed anything here like that in two years and has often been commended by his team mates as being the consumate professional, a leader, a hard worker etc .. He seems to be an excellent fit here and has been excellent overall.
I truly never thought the Boca option was real or even made sense .. Why go play there when he can be on big teams in Europe and playing in the Champions League. Plus, he’s young, only 31. Still has 2-3 years of solid football in him, especially with his work rate and intensity, barring injures of course.
that was my point though – Perhaps his old attitude has resurfaced now that offers are coming in ?
There’s no denying how well he fits in at the club. He’s a perfect fit in all aspects. but it’s what is happening off the pitch that concerns me.
The Boca relevance is because of how he has always wanted to go back there. His heart has always been in Argentina. He always said he wanted to go back. He said the same to Vidal just weeks ago.
Ultimately, it’s his choice. but if he is no longer foccused on juventus, then he shouldn;t be at juve
Well, not everyone thinks a carreer is the most important thing in life, especially in the later days of that carreer. He has always been homesick and probably prefers being happy in Argentina over being unhappy in europe. Can’t blame him for feeling that way, can you?
Now if he does go to Atletico instead of Boca or staying with us, i will lose a whole lot of respect for him, cuz that would mean the ”I miss my home love story” he has put up the last years were all a lie.
Exactly, if he went to Boca, then we could understand .. Wouldn’t be happy about it, but we knew about it beforehand.
If he goes to Atetico and we have to play him in CL, then that wouldn’t be cool.
Voted Morata since he got us through the CL semi finals and kept us in the final. Which i also need to give credits to Buffon for.
Hmm… Tevez dragged our team for a lot of the beginning pf the season, but when we then all clicked as a team, his huge influence began to fade away or it wasnt just him leading the team. Buffon was incredible. Marchisio, well im sure everyone knows how i feel about him and Bonucci matured so much. Dont think he made a blunder all season long. Grew to be a true leader in the back. I also shouldnt forget Morata. Earned his spot and immediately made an impact. Decisions, decisions
Pick me, pick me!!
Wow this is hard to vote 🙁
Buffon, Bonucci, Marchisio, Morata, Tevez would be my top 5, but which one I’d vote for top? I don’t know.. Too hard Rav, I can’t do it 🙁
My head says Tevez but my heart says Marchisio <3
Your heart is always right :p
I voted for Marchisio because i love him, but Buffon has to win it for me. The saves he made this season were just unreal
I’m just not voting, I can’t do it xD Each of these has good reason to win it
I voted Bonucci. I think he has gone from somewhat of a liability only a couple years ago to one of the better defenders in Europe. I think he is our only player that would start on every team in the world.
