Juventus were made to work until the end as they were reduced to 10 men but Andrea Pirlo raised the roof with his last minute winner.

Arturo Vidal opened the scoring for the Bianconeri in the Derby Della Mole as Juve looked eager to set the tempo of the game. The Chilean was made to retake his penalty and gave one of his better performances of the season to date.

Torino looked to counter and Bruno Peres ran the length of the pitch beating half the Juve team before blasting past Buffon to score a  fantastic solo goal.

Stephan Lichsteiner was sent off for a debatable second yellow card and just when the match looked over, Andrea Pirlo latched onto Arturo Vidal’s pass to fire home the winner in the dying seconds of the game.

Marco Storari

Called in at the last minute to replace an injured Gigi Buffon. Made some straight forward saves but could do nothing about Peres’ fine solo effort.

6.0 / 10

Stephan Lichtsteiner

A poor display overall from the right back. Looked laboured at times and really struggled to contain Darmian. Capped off the night with a tired tackle that earned him a sending off.

5.5 / 10

Giorgio Chiellini

Strong at the back, made some decent tackles and interceptions to keep Torino quiet. Held off Amauri more than once and was one of the better performers tonight.

6.5 / 10

Leonardo Bonucci

Kept Quagliarella in his pocket for large spells of the game and even forced a save from Gillet with an effort from distance.

6.5 / 10

Patrice Evra

A decent display on his return from injury. Couldn’t keep up with Peres for Torino’s equaliser and his positioning let him down on occasion. More of a threat in the final third with some decent crosses.

6.5 / 10

Claudio Marchisio

An off night for the midfielder where he failed to really contribute anything of note to the Juve performance. Subbed off for Pereyra.

6.0 / 10

Andrea Pirlo – MOM

Struggled at times to make an impression despite completing 92% of his passes. Looked tired at times but provided the winner at the death with a simply sublime finish.

7.5 / 10

Paul Pogba

Made some great forward runs but grew more frustrated as the game went on and was marshalled well by the Torino midfield.

6.0 / 10

 Arturo Vidal

Markedly better than in recent weeks. Scored twice from the spot after his penalty had to be retaken. Scored another but was correctly flagged as offside. Provided the perfect assist for Pirlo to win it late on.

7.0 / 10

Carlos Tevez

A characteristically pugnacious display from the Argentine. Caused the Torino defence all kinds of problems but failed to leave his usual mark on the game.

6.5 / 10

Fernando Llorente

Frustrating to say the least. Lingered on the ball for too long at times and was easily dispossessed by the Torino defence. Didn’t get much service from his teammates either.

5.5 / 10

Substitutions

Alvaro Morata

On for Llorente early in the second half and made an immediate impact with his play both on and off the ball.

6.0 / 10

Roberto Pereyra

Worked hard after coming on as a sub for Marchisio. Added a little extra something in attack.
