Reports from Spain suggest Zinedine Zidane will join Juventus as an assistant sporting director in October

Zidane is currently taking time away from the game following his resignation as Real Madrid coach, shortly after the club won the Champions League.

Reports in the French media suggested that he could take over Les Bleus ahead of the Qatar 2022 World Cup, however those now look premature as Didier Deschamps looks set to continue as coach following his World Cup success.

Libertad Digital reports that Zizou is preparing to take up a role with the Bianconeri, having spent his formative years playing Turin.

According to journalist Juanma Rodríguez Zidane will take up a role alongside Fabio Paratici;  Rodriguez claims his source for this news is “someone very close to the Agnelli family”, and that Zidane won’t take up the role until October.
