Reports in Italy and Spain continue to link Juventus with a move for Atletico Madrid centre back, Diego Godin.

With Daniele Rugani’s future hanging in the balance and a move to Chelsea looking ever more likely, talk of Godin to Juve has intensified in the last week.

Spanish paper AS report that the Bianconeri are making a concerted effort to sign the Uruguayan centre-back on a three-year contract, although Atleti will reportedly offer him the same to remain in Madrid.

Sportitalia have suggested that Sporting Director Fabio Paratici has identified Godin as a key target for the Juventus back line and the €20m buyout clause in his contract will be enough to secure his move to Turin.

Today, La Stampa confirm those reports, stating that Godin has agreed a contract worth €4m per season, however Atletico will insist on the full €20m buyout clause being paid.
