Juventus midfielder Blaise Matuidi looks set to remain at the club after reporting down an offer from French club Monaco.

The Ligue 1 side were in talks to sign both Matuidi and defender Daniele Rugani but moves for the pair still look unlikely at the moment.

L’Equipe now report that Matuidi has already made a choice on his future, electing to see out his remaining year with the Bianconeri.

Both he and German midfielder Sami Khedira were expected to leave the club this summer but reports from the Italian press suggest that they have done enough to convince new coach Maurizio Sarri.
