Juventus are confident that they will sign Cristiano Ronaldo and there are no concerns over the timeframe for the deal.

News has reached fever pitch all over the world and a number of differing reports are emerging from Spain, Italy and beyond.

Sky Sport Italia are urging caution, reporting that there the Bianconeri are not concerned over the timeframe for the deal as they have a guarantee from Cristiano Ronaldo that he wishes to come to Juventus.

Real Madrid will be hosting a board meeting tomorrow and it’s been suggested that Florentino Perez may make the announcement then, however Sky Sport Italia journalist Gianluca Di Marzio insists that that a decision has already been made.

Juventus now need to get the terms in writing, confirming that Perez is prepared to sell Ronaldo for €100m as per his unofficial agreement with Ronaldo’s agent Jorge Mendes in January.

There was a brief suggestion that Ronaldo may possibly take a final pay day by playing for a large MLS or Chinese club, however Ronaldo is keen to continue playing at the top level and wants to prove himself.

Reports in some parts of the press suggest that Perez still wants Ronaldo to publicly confirm the departure is his decision in order to alleviate himself of the ‘blame’ for losing CR7.
