Matthijs de Ligt was greeted by fans as he arrived for his medical ahead of a €75m transfer from Ajax.
The Dutch centre-back landed in Turin late last night and was presented at Juve’s J-medical facility this morning.
De Ligt is expected to sign a five-year contract with the Bianconeri which could see him earn a reported €7.5m a season with an additional €4.5m in bonuses.
The 19-year-old is widely expected to take the number ‘4’ shirt following in a long line of prestigious Juve defenders.
It’s reported that De Ligt turned down offers from Paris Saint-Germain, Barcelona, Manchester United and Bayern Munich in order to join the Bianconeri.
