Paulo Dybala believes staying at Juventus this summer was a rewarding decision that has helped improve him.

La Joya was linked with moves to Manchester United, Tottenham Hotspur and Paris Saint-Germain, refusing all offers in favour of remaining in Turin.

He’s gone on to play a vital role for the Bianconeri in key games this season, including finding the net against Atalanta in Juve’s 3-1 win victory yesterday, aided by Gonzalo Higuain.

“I can understand Higuain with just a look, we are a wonderful duo,” La Joya told Goal Italia, “We hope to see Cristiano Ronaldo at 100% again.”

Dybala has been improved since last season with his position on the pitch making a telling difference.

“I don’t know what has changed since last year, but playing closer to the goal helps: everything starts from there.

“The decision to stay is rewarding me, it’s my desire to improve, to have fun on the pitch.

“The coach helps me out, I try to give everything and my teammates are good at supporting me in difficult times.”
