Juventus and Manchester United head a list of more than 20 clubs who are all following Red Bull Salzburg striker Erling Braut Haaland.

The Bianconeri have been linked to the 19-year-old in recent months but it’s reported that their interest in the talent goes back much further.

Writing in The Guardian, transfer journalist Fabrizio Romano reports that Bianconeri sporting director Fabio Paratici “was keen to sign Haaland from Molde in the summer of 2018 and was ready to offer €6m but the teenager was reluctant to join a side where he would sit on the bench or be loaned out.”

The report also suggests that Red Bull Salzburg are open to selling him in the summer but Juve would face competition from Manchester United whose coach Ole Gunnar Solskjær spent two seasons with Haaland at Molde in 20017 and 2018.

The youngster has managed 22 goals in 15 games so far this season, including six in the Champions League, pushing value up to €40m for now, although Salzburg believe they could get close to €60m.
