Juventus are working a contract extension for Alex Sandro which will keep him at the club until at least 2022.

The Brazilian full-back has been one of the most consistent performers this season and Juve are keen to extend his existing deal which ends in 2020 in an effort to ward off interest from Manchester City and a host of other clubs.

Goal.com Juve correspondent Romeo Agresti reports that the Bianconeri are preparing to extend Sandro’s deal in the coming months and that an agreement in principle has already been reached. The left-back would earn €4m per season in the revised contract extension, keeping him in Turin until at least 2022.

When recently asked by Corriere dello Sport about interest from Real Madrid and Chelsea, the 26-year-old what emphatic about his future:

“My future? I only care about Juventus. I don’t care about anything but doing well in this shirt. I’m here and I’m staying put.”
