Mattia Caldara has played down the recent transfer talk linking him with a move to Milan, insisting ‘I’m happy at Juventus’.

The young defender is on tour with the Bianconeri in the US and was gave an interview to the clubs official site, talking first about the Pingry School in New Jersey.

“The center is very big, everything is very beautiful,” Mattia told Sky Sport.

It was a long journey. Yesterday we had a muscular session in the hotel, but this morning we went on the pitch.

“Allegri has some very interesting concepts that I will try to understand immediately. We worked on some movements of the defensive phase, on the offside. I’m two years behind the ‘3’ game, now we play ‘4’, it’s a bit different, but I will quickly get used to it.

“Ronaldo? The welcome he received was justified, for the player he is and for all he has shown in these years. Playing with him is an honor for me and I will try to learn as much as possible, trying to understand how he trains. Having a physique like this at 33 is truly incredible.

“Bayern? It will be a very difficult game, from the physical point of view and also with the time zone it will not be easy. I believe we can prove that we are ready here, I want to show that we are up to the task.

Caldara was finally asked about the transfer talk linking him with a move to Milan this summer.

“It’s just talk, it’s nice to be linked, but I am happy at Juventus, I want to stay here, my agent takes care of these things, but I am very happy with Juventus.”
