Juventus missed out on the chance to go 12 points clear as 10-man Roma grabbed a late equaliser in the Scudetto showdown.

Roma dominated possession but it was Juventus who had the clearer chances to score, playing on the counter through Tevez, Pereyra and Morata. The Giallorossi were reduced to 10-men in the second half and Juve went ahead shortly after through Carlos Tevez’ beautifully placed free-kick.

Roma continued to press, despite being a man down, and their persistence paid off as Keita headed home from a free-kick to earn a vital point for I Lupi.

Gianluigi Buffon

Made a great save on a Manolas header to deny Roma, shortly before they did eventually go ahead through Seydou Keita – A goal Gigi could do nothing about. A spectator for the rest of the match.

6.5 / 10

Stephan Lichtsteiner

Performed well in his defensive duties as Juve looked to play more on the counter. Not much of a threat in the final third of the pitch, often crossing too deep or misplacing his passes.

6.0 / 10

Leonardo Bonucci

A great performance, all things considered. Saw off each Roma attack with relative ease and looked to get Juve moving forward through some decent crosses as he played the ball out of defence.

6.5 / 10

Martin Caceres

Covered well for Lichtsteiner when there were gaps on the right-side of defence but was at fault for Roma’s equaliser as he lost Seydou Keita who headed home for the Giallorossi.

5.5 / 10

Patrice Evra

Made a few forays into the opponents half but spent most of the match covering Torosidis in Juve’s half.

6.0 / 10

Giorgio Chiellini

Barely troubled by the Roma attack and repelled everything that was thrown into the box. Made a reckless challenge and conceded the free kick which led to Roma’s equaliser.

5.5 / 10

Claudio Marchisio

Underrated as always. Sat in front of the defence and shielded them well while trying to create chances for the Juve attack.

6.5 / 10

Roberto Pereyra

One of the few highlights was his energetic and combative performance, playing behind the front two. Made some great challenges but more importantly, created opportunities for Tevez and Morata to try score from.

7.0 / 10

Arturo Vidal

Broke up the Roma attacks all over the pitch, worked hard for the team, distributed the ball well and looked more like his old self.

6.5 / 10

Alvaro Morata

Dragged a shot wide of the post and held up the ball well but failed to make any of his chances count.

6.0 / 10

Carlos Tevez – MOM

Put Juve ahead through a sublime free-kick that left De Sanctis rooted to the spot. A constant threat, made some great runs and could have ended the night with more than one goal to his name.

7.5 / 10
