Juventus are reportedly on the verge of completing a deal for Atletico full-back Guilherme Siqueira.
The Brazilian left-back has been strongly linked with a move to Turin in recent weeks and a number of Italian sources expect the deal to completed shortly.
Corriere dello Sport report that Juve and Atlei only have to iron out a few details before Siqueira joins the Bianconeri, initially on loan.
The player will spend the 2015/16 in Turin before completing a compulsory transfer next summer with the fee believed to be €9m.
Siqueira is expected to agree a three-year deal worth €2m per season.
Can’t help but feel disappointed about this transfer. 29 years old and not really anything special to say about him. Will only play if Evra just isn’t available, hopefully he’s at least better than PDC or Padoin there
29 y/o who is still very fast and played for an atleti side that knows how to defend. Isn’t the worst move but tbh I haven’t seen too much of him besides the 4 games he played against us and looked pretty decent. With Evra on his last year I think we really move to strengthen the defense next year with a CB and LB
He’s only been there for a year, replacing Filipe Luis who went to Chelsea. Luis completely flopped, went back to Atletico and now Atletico doesn’t mind to let Siqueira go. I don’t rate this guy high at all, I’d like any other transfer target better than him. Evra’s replacement has to be younger than 29, he’s a gapstop at best imo, and a downgrade on Evra
