Swedish national team coach Janne Anderson says new Juventus signing Dejan Kulusevski reminds him of Arjen Robben and hope’s he is ready for the Bianconeri.

The 19-year-old midfielder signed for Juve in the January transfer window and is expected to play a major role this summer when he joins up with the team following a loan spell at Parma.

Speaking to Gazzetta dello Sport, Anderson discussed the starlet and what hopes he has for the youngsters future.

“Dejan has been with the national team recently but has already shown he has great potential,” Anderson told the paper.

“He works hard and is very quick. If this continues, he will stay in the national team for many years.

“What’s his best position? As a coach you always appreciate someone who can play in many positions. It will be very interesting to see his evolution.

“At the moment, however, I believe that with that speed, he is perfect for playing on the wing.”

The youngster has taken a big step up at an early age in joining Juventus, but is he ready for the challenge?

“I hope so, he is still young. As a coach, you always want your players to be at the best clubs.

“If he continues to work hard, in a system as good as that of Juventus he can grow a lot.

“Who does he remind me of? With that speed, that ball control and that ability to score goals, I see a bit of Arjen Robben in him.”
